A beautiful looking Pleyel by the world famous maker from Paris. In old films, it's a Pleyel you often see, the choice of the great composers. This overstrung piano was previously restored by Neil O'Brien, a well experienced technician, and he has replaced some Tenor strings, Loop Chords, Jack Springs, and felts.
The piano has a cleat distinctive tone and a big presence due to its large soundboard and long strings. The cabinet has beautiful inlay and the original ivory keys have no chips, some are yellowing in areas, and a few have been replaced by Neil. Ideal for a beginner to intermediate level player.
Dimensions: Width: 153cm, Depth: 62cm, Height: 125cm
About Trade-in Pianos:
Our valued customers often trade their pianos back to us around Grade 6/7. They may wish to change from learning on an older instrument that has served them well for piano lessons, to a new or reconditioned acoustic piano with a greater level of versatility and dynamics; a piano more capable of keeping up with the more advanced player.
In other piano shops trade-in pianos usually have zero work completed on them and are simply sold as seen. Many of them are built by unknown manufacturers using old style configurations. There are literally thousands of makers, but only the top 20 are good.
Our trade-in pianos are often previously restored by us, and when they come back to us as a trade-in, we put them through a rigorus refurbishment process which includes:
Stripping and Repairing the Wooden Cabinet, Oiling, Waxing, Restoring Brass Works, Internals Pressure Blasting, Lubrication of Moving Parts, Loop Chord and Jack Spring Replacement where Necessary, Hammer Realignment and Voicing, Servicing and Regulation, Keytop Replacement when Necessary, Tuning, Toning, and Pitch Raising.
We include 23% VAT, Free Ground Floor Only Delivery, Stool, and Tuning on Arrival. We are the only piano shop that offers a 100% Trade Back Option. If you buy a piano for €900, should you wish to trade it back in the future, you get €900 off your next piano.
Our trade-in pianos are priced as low as possible and are a fixed price, thank you. We don't buy pianos back, but are always happy to take them back as a trade-in.
