Most Dale Forty pianos were straight strung and overdamped, a configuration which is older and not as good. This Dale Forty is overstrung and underdamped, rare enough to find, giving it a significantly better and broader tone. This piano is very good looking and is restored to a high standard. The tone is soft and rounded and it has a nice light to medium responsive touch. The keys are in perfect condition and the internals are thoroughly overhauled and reconditioned, with full tape and spring replacement. The hammers are resurfaced and perform well. Case is like new, with refinished brass trimmings. A solid British piano to suit the beginner to intermediate level player. Piano can be traded back around Grade 7, or could easily see you through the grades if you wished to hold on it. Finance is not available on this piano. Fixed low cash price, thank you
