The U3A Models were built between 1982 and 1987 and are considered by many professionals to be Yamaha at their very best and the U3A cannot be matched by any other piano in the market.

The Yamaha U3 is the most popular all round acoustic piano ever made and all of our pre-owned U3's are imported from Hamamatsu, Japan through our trusted UK suppliers. When they reach the UK the cabinets are expertly stripped and refinished, including the brass works and all screws. The internals are overhauled, regulated to perform at their best and hammer heads are voiced to produce perfect tone. On arriving in our showroom they are tuned twice and buffed. 

With its warm, solid sound and consistently stable playability, the U3 draws you in and lets you immerse yourself in the piano from the first time you play it. This model epitomizes the Yamaha upright piano, and embodies a standard in pianos that has matured over decades—inheriting the fundamental specifications and characteristics, and remaining in high regard by professional pianists.

Warranty is renewed after two years if O'Briain Pianos are tuning your piano annually.

Pianos must be tuned at least once a year. If you are an intermediate to advanced level player, tuning your piano every six months is advised.
