A fine example of the popular Model 9 upright from one of the best manufacturers in the world, Carl Bechstein. This instrument was manufactured in 1926, during the best production period of these pianos, and is later than most other Bechsteins in existence, due to the fact that the popularity of German built pianos diminished slightly after 1914.
The Mahogany case has been refinished to the highest standard and all brass works polished to a new looking condition. The original 85 note ivory keyboard has been restored. Internally, the action has been reconditioned, with refaced hammer heads, new repetition springs and tapes among the work carried out. An opportunity to purchase a quality instrument from one of the best makers.
