This Chappell Model C, is finished in a walnut satin case. It's fitted with the German Renner action - a costly option and a sign of a quality too. Although compact, it's a tall modern piano, standing at 119cm, with long strings and large soundboard. In every way, it is like a brand new piano with the amount of work completed on it. Superb rich tone, light to medium responsive touch, and built to last a lifetime. Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced level.
This high quality over-strung piano is completely restored inside and out. After several months in the workshop, every aspect of this instrument is refinished to a brand new standard. The casework is now the same as when it was originally manufactured, having been stripped back, repaired and sprayed with many coats of the finest polish. The meticulously prepared internal mechanism known as the ‘action’ is thoroughly regulated and overhauled, with hundreds of new parts including tapes, springs, felts, bushings, screws etc. The hammers are resurfaced and perform at their optimum best. The keyboard and pedal maintenance now results in a responsive touch and comfortable playing experience. Each key is put through a cleaning and whitening process. The pedals are regulated and new pads installed around them to reduce movement noise. Piano is tuned, toned and ready to play. It is ideal for the beginner, intermediate or advanced level player.
