1974 German quality built compact overstrung upright piano was mellow rich tone and responsive medium touch. Recently traded to us and in good condition overall. Some minor wear and tear, but nothing significant. We have lightly stripped and polished the cabinet, renewed the brass trimmings, and have giving it a thorough service. The internal action is robust and is made of high quality woods and components. The sound quality is nice, soft and pure toned, and benefits from having the hammer heads voiced. Ideal for the beginner to intermediate level player and can fit into most spaces with its compact dimensions.
