First introduced in the 1930's, this Steinway & Sons Model S Baby Grand Piano was manufactured in 1936 and has now been fully-reconditioned to reproduce an authentic sound. This model includes the original soundboard with a fully overhauled action and has undergone a restring as well as being given a new set of (Abel) steinway patented hammers.
You will find this piano has a sustaining, lyrical tone whilst retaining warmth and a capability to produce great projection. The medium weight action gives a delicate touch to the keys whilst you enjoy its responsiveness. This lends itself well to expressive playing that draws out the full potential of the dynamic range.
