A fully restored and rebuilt Steinway Model K overstrung upright piano. A nice instrument to play, with a responsive light to medium touch and mellow rounded pure tone. The Model K is considered by Steinway as one of their best upright designs and thousands were sold to professional pianists during the golden period of their piano evolution.
Internally the piano is rebuilt to a high standard and externally the Rosewood veneer is French polished by hand following by antique waxing. It has a beautiful design and presence in a room and its rich sound quality is distinctively Steinway. Perfect keys and brass trimmings are restored. Full string and pin replacement, rebuilt action, new loop chords, springs, bushings, felts, etc.
