Cecilian were an average to good maker. This piano was traded to us. It is a very basic beginners baby grand and would suit a child learning from age 3 to 8. Built in 1935 and was in the same household from new to recent. All the keys work well, are nicely weighted and are in excellent condition, responsive touch. We have cleaned and buffed the keys, renewed the brass, oiled and waxed the case, cleaned the soundboard, pressure blasted the internals, realigned the hammers, regulated the action and tuned it. The tone is mellow and clear. The piano can be view in Gorey, Wexford, and is not in our Lucan showroom.
