A lovely piano from the highly respected Chappell of London factory.
This fully restored to new standard instrument from 1937 is finished in a walnut veneer, featuring a figured walnut veneer on the front of the fall. The sides of the piano have a very subtle art deco style to the front edges - a nod to the design of the era.
We have repolished the cabinet and cleaned all the brass work.
The original 88 note ivory and ebony keyboard has been restored, with keywoods cleaned and keytops cleaned and buffed.
Internally, the action has been restored too, with refaced hammer heads, new repetition springs and tapes among the work carried out.
