Yamaha B1 Silent (Brass Fittings)

The B1 is also perfect for the smaller home, as its compact cabinetry means it doesn't have to dominate the room it is in. Yamaha have provided an entry level piano, synthesising Yamaha's trademark bright tone, with a forgiving keyboard which encourages playability. This model also comes fitted with the Yamaha SC3 Silent system. Perfect for anyone looking to play without disturbing the neighbours, and excellent at making sure no one hears any mistakes as you learn the basics.

Simply plug your headphones in whilst a mute rail stops the hammers just before they hit the strings!

In the SC3 silent systems, the digital sounds are produced using Yamaha's articulation sensor system located beneath the keys. Binaural Sampling and Virtual Resonance Modelling have been used to create high quality piano samples during silent mode, and Grand Expression Modelling has been used to reproduce your playing through headphones as accurately as possible. You can also connect to external speakers and other devices via USB and also connect to Smart Pianist App via bluetooth. Along with the CFX Grand and Bösendorfer Imperial sound samples, 12 different sound types are available.
