The Yamaha B10 upright piano is the most compact model in the acclaimed B Series, designed to offer a genuine Yamaha acoustic experience in a space-saving cabinet. Ideal for beginners, returning players and those looking for a reliable starter upright, the B10 delivers the quality and consistency expected from a world leading piano maker.

At just 110cm tall, this compact Yamaha upright piano is perfectly suited to homes, studios and teaching environments where space is limited but musical performance still matters. Despite its size, the B10 produces a clear, balanced tone with impressive depth, making it an excellent entry point into the Yamaha acoustic piano range.

Developed with input from players, teachers and technicians, the latest B Series uprights have been refined to improve both tone and playability. The B10 benefits from a redesigned soundboard and carefully scaled construction, helping create a more resonant and consistent sound across the keyboard.

The tone is clean and focused, with a warm bass and a clear treble that supports both simple practice and more expressive playing as technique develops. It’s a piano that grows with the player, making it a strong long-term investment for those starting their musical journey.

A responsive action ensures good control and touch from the very beginning. Each key is part of a precisely engineered mechanism, allowing for smooth repetition and dynamic accuracy - essential for building proper technique.

The B10 also features Yamaha’s refined hammer design, inspired by their flagship concert grands, helping to produce clarity and sustain across all registers. This contributes to a stable, even tone that supports both melody and accompaniment.

Built using carefully selected and seasoned materials, the piano is designed for long-term durability and tuning stability. The solid spruce soundboard enhances resonance, while the robust frame construction ensures the instrument remains structurally sound under constant string tension.

Practical features include a wide music rest for larger scores and a soft-close fallboard for added safety and everyday usability.

The Yamaha B10 is also available with Silent and TransAcoustic options, allowing for quiet practice with headphones or enhanced sound control when needed.
