Yamaha C5X SH3 Silent

It has been described as more than just a piano; it is an extension of the self. The CX5 has a soft, subtle touch that is hard to recreate in smaller, lower end instruments. At 6'7" the acoustic chamber is large enough to drive a powerful sound; a foundation upon which Yamaha's characteristic, bright mid-range and top-end can thrive. Perfect for performance venues, schools and large rooms, the CX5 is an instrument made by maestros, for maestros.

One of Yamaha's finest products, it is capable of really expressing the musician playing it. A truly excellent piece of instrumental engineering.

The SH3 silent system also has non-contact hammer sensors (2-point detection optical fiber sensors) as well as key sensors . There are also sensors that measure the movement of the sostenuto pedal as well as the damper and soft pedal. Along with the CFX Grand and Bösendorfer Imperial sound samples, 25 types of sound are available ranging from E-pianos, Organs, strings and choirs!

Binaural Sampling and Virtual Resonance Modelling have been used to create high quality piano samples during silent mode, and Grand Expression Modelling has been used to reproduce your playing through headphones as accurately as possible. You can also connect to external speakers and other devices via USB and also connect to Smart Pianist App via bluetooth.
