Bechstein are a top German maker and this restored Model 7 is a rare and sought after instrument that will increase in value over the years. Most retail around the 10,000 mark. It's one of the finest instruments we have ever restored and has a full, rounded, pure and even tone with responsive touch, a real pleasure to play, with significant volume and presence when required. Taller than a U3 it has very long strings and huge perfect original soundboard, giving it great depth of tone throughout, particularly in the Tenor and Bass.

The Rosewood cabinet is newly hand French Polished and the brass works refinished. Unusual shape with curved sides and was carefully looked after by a professional piano and saxophone player whom we sold it to 8 years ago, who is now downsizing to an apartment. The original ivory keys are in perfect condition and the internals are full overhauled by us, tuned to Concert Pitch, regulated, and with hammer heads voiced.

A true family heirloom by the world renowned Carl Bechstein, Berlin, and an instrument that will last for centuries. Ideal for all levels of player, from beginner to advanced.
