A well-built, internally original Allison over-strung piano with original ivory keys and brass fittings. This piano was owned by a musical family from Malahide and was used for learning the grades on. We recommend it for a beginner to intermediate level player and it can be traded back to us in the future, in which case we offer a 100% trade back. The piano has a soft rounded tone and the response is good.
The cabinet overall is in good condition considering the piano was built in 1924. There is some minor wear and tear commensurate with age (Top Lid) but nothing too significant. Allison are respected piano builders from London and due to its configuration, overstrung/underdamped, it has long strings, a large soundboard, and good depth of tone throughout.
