Yamaha C6X SH3 Silent

This absolutely, superb instrument, combines quality and scale, providing an almost unbeatable sound. The 7' case means that the acoustic chamber is capable of highlighting every subtlety in your style of play. The hammers - adapted from those used in the flagship CFX concert grand piano - in combination with the redesigned soundboard result in an unbeatable elegance. This model has also been fitted with the Yamaha SH3 Silent system to facilitate silent play whilst maintaining the feel of an acoustic piano.

The SH3 silent system also has non-contact hammer sensors (2-point detection optical fiber sensors) as well as key sensors . There are also sensors that measure the movement of the sostenuto pedal as well as the damper and soft pedal. Along with the CFX Grand and Bösendorfer Imperial sound samples, 25 types of sound are available ranging from E-pianos, Organs, strings and choirs! Binaural Sampling and Virtual Resonance Modelling have been used to create high quality piano samples during silent mode, and Grand Expression Modelling has been used to reproduce your playing through headphones as accurately as possible. You can also connect to external speakers and other devices via USB and also connect to Smart Pianist App via bluetooth.
