The Yamaha YUS3 is an excellent instrument constructed from only the finest materials, embodying the tradition and precision Yamaha incorporate into all of their models.
The hammers and strings are both of the same quality as the SU7, whilst specially selected soundboards provide a strong basis for a rich bass and bright top-end. The YUS3 also comes fitted with a sostenuto pedal for the most experienced players. The YUS3 inspires quality, playability and creativity at every turn. This model is fitted with a silent system, facilitating quiet play without sacrificing the feel of an acoustic piano.
The SH3 silent system also has non-contact hammer sensors (2-point detection optical fiber sensors) as well as key sensors . There are also sensors that measure the movement of the sostenuto pedal as well as the damper and soft pedal. Along with the CFX Grand and Bösendorfer Imperial sound samples, 25 types of sound are available ranging from E-pianos, Organs, strings and choirs!
Binaural Sampling and Virtual Resonance Modelling have been used to create high quality piano samples during silent mode, and Grand Expression Modelling has been used to reproduce your playing through headphones as accurately as possible. You can also connect to external speakers and other devices via USB and also connect to Smart Pianist App via bluetooth.
